Claudelands is the conference venue. It is located in Kirikiriroa | Hamilton, in the heart of the Waikato region, within 90 minutes’ drive of Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua.
Claudelands is located on the corner of Brooklyn Road and Heaphy Terrace, on the eastern side of the Waikato River. The venue is a 10 -15 minute walk from the CBD, pedestrian access is via the Arena Plaza on Heaphy Terrace.
Claudelands offers plenty of free parking onsite
Bicycle racks are also available onsite
Taxi stands are located on Heaphy Terrace
Bus stops are situated on Brooklyn Road and Heaphy Terrace. For more information on the city’s bus service visit the Busit website.

The venue caters for special dietary requirements. Please ensure when you register that you note your requirements in the special dietary requirements box. Due to the venue requirements dietary requests, may incur an additional charge of $10 surcharge per day.

Yes, all accommodation requirements are to be booked by the delegates themselves. Options are available on the accommodation page. Please note, there is limited accommodation options in Hamilton, we suggest booking early

Dress comfortably and wear shoes that are good for walking. Due to the size of the Claudelands, the rooms are usually quite spread out.

Yes, free wifi is available within the venue.

Networking with other conference delegates is available through the conference app which will be open to all registered attendees approximately one week prior to the start of the conference. From the app you will have access to a list of registered attendees who have opted into the networking platform. The delegate list is searchable by a number of different criteria.

Claudelands (the conference venue) offers plenty of free parking onsite for delegates.

Attendance to all plenary, day catering for Thursday 28 and Friday 29 August (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea), Midwives Mingle ticket (Thursday 28 August), networking and learning!

You can pay by credit card (MasterCard or Visa).

Shared registrations are not permitted.

We understand that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the Conference you are welcome to contact us in writing (nzcom@composition.co.nz) to nominate a replacement delegate at no extra charge. A full refund less a $100 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 18 July 2025.
No refunds will be issued after 18 July 2025.
Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.
No refunds will be provided for any cancelled accommodation, airfares or other related expenses for your travel to the Conference.

No discounts apply to early-bird registration pricing.

Yes, registrations are accepted onsite, however, we encourage you to register early to receive valuable conference information, and it allows us to account for accurate numbers in catering.

You will receive an email (to the email address you provided) saying you are registered and a link back to your registration details.

At the end of the registration process, you will be emailed a confirmation letter that will also have your tax receipt attached for your records.
